Workplace Giving

Your Workplace Giving Campaign provides another great opportunity to raise funds for the Rexall™ OneWalk to Conquer Cancer™. Many Walkers don’t realize that through this Campaign, donations can be directed to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and support a registered Walker, a friend or colleague, yourself or your corporate team funds for OneWalk.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a very important change to the Campaign donation process should donors wish to direct funds to OneWalk. This year, participating organizations will be required to provide the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation with additional donation information contained in the two steps outlined below. By completing these steps, and submitting the information required we can be sure to apply your donation to your personal fundraising page.

IMPORTANT: Before making your donation, please contact your OneWalk Team Captain or Workplace Giving Campaign Leader to confirm (1) your organization agrees to participate in this new process and (2) compliance with all privacy laws around your donation.

It is also important to understand that your Workplace Giving Campaign may only disperse donations on a quarterly basis, therefore, it will take a few months for your donations to reach the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and be posted on your Walker’s personal fundraising page.

**Both steps must be completed in order for the Walker to be credited with the donation**

Step One

Please complete your Workplace Giving Campaign On-Line Donation Form noting the following:

  1. For the charity, please select ‘Princess Margaret Cancer/Hospital Foundation’.
  2. YOU MUST ‘Opt In’ to share your information with us at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in order for us to properly track your donation. ** Please note: If you do not “opt in” to share your information, the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation will have no way to properly track your donation and therefore your donation will be processed under the general fund for OneWalk and will not appear on your Walker page.**
  3. You will notice that there is no place to share with us which Walker you would like to support within the On-Line Donation Form. This information will be communicated to us during STEP TWO of the process outlined below.
  4. Please complete your On-Line Donation by the end of your Workplace Campaign or before April 30, 2018 at the latest (whichever comes first) so that it may be captured in the reporting sent to the Foundation in May, 2018.

Step Two

  1. Please have ready to provide the following pieces of information within our Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation secured site: Name; Email, Address, Phone Number; Donation Amount; the name of the Registered Walker to whom you would like to direct the donation (if you are supporting multiple Walkers or a Corporate Team , please indicate the name of each Walker or the team name you are supporting and the corresponding donation).
  2. Please CLICK HERE to complete the required form in Step Two of this process before April 30, 2018 so that it may be matched with the campaign reporting and allocated correctly to the Walker you wish to support.
