  • Cash for parking and additional cash should you wish to partake in additional drinks
  • Your photo ID if you intend to drink alcoholic beverages at the Finish Line Festival
  • Last-minute donations that each have a properly completed donation form

Day Walk

  • Rain gear
  • Cash for parking and additional cash should you wish to partake in additional drinks.
  • Participants with special diets, bring all lunch and finish-line meals for the day to the Registration/Information booth at the Opening Rally. Our team will ensure these meals are at the locations for you to pick up once you arrive. Please ensure you have your NAME, PARTICIPANT NUMBER and WHAT MEAL it is on plastic food container.
  • Bring your photo ID. You’ll need it if you’ll drink alcoholic beverages at the Finish Festival.
  • Bring any last-minute donations on Saturday. Each donation must have a completed donation form. Speed up the check-in process by bringing them properly filled in.

  • Please observe all Safety Marshall and Toronto Police instructions.
  • Use designated sidewalks, pathways and crosswalks at all times.
  • Please be mindful of other pedestrian traffic.
  • Keep to the right of the sidewalk at all times.
  • Remember that headphones and/or phone usage are not allowed while walking!
  • Please always look both ways before crossing.
  • Remember: This is a walk, not a race!
  • Please wear reflective walking gear and carry a flashlight!

Day Walk

  • Please obey all posted signs.

Important Dates

 

Night Walk & Day Walk

September 1, 2018: Mailed donations must be postmarked by this date in order to be processed in time for the event. Mailed donations postmarked after may not be credited to your fundraising account by event day. If you receive additional mailed donations after September 1, bring them to Night Walk on Friday, September 7, to have them added to your account on the spot.

November 10, 2018: Delayed self-pledges will be processed on this date only if you have not reached your fundraising minimum.

40KM Walkers

 

We want to make sure that all of our 40km Walkers are informed and ready to make the trek safely and successfully on September 8th.
If you’re having doubts about being able to complete the 40km route, no worries! You can easily switch to the 25km or 15km route by calling or emailing our office at 416.815.9255 or torontocoaches@onewalk.ca.

Also, for the safety of our Crew, Volunteers and Walkers, a few rerouting measures will be put into effect during the event weekend.

  • Our 40km Walkers who reach the 6km mark at Onestop 1 in Trinity Bellwoods park, after 10:00 a.m. will be redirected onto the 25km route to complete their OneWalk in time for the Finish Line Festival.
  • Our 40km Walkers who reach Refresh station D at HTO Park after 5:30 p.m.will board the shuttle bus and get transported to the last kilometre of the route to complete their OneWalk in time for the Finish Line Festival.
  • The 40km route will permanently close at 6:30 p.m., so if you are committed to completing the full 40km distance, your target walking speed should be 5km/hr. or faster.
